Where was he born?
Enda Kenny was born on the 24th of April 1951 in the village of Glenisland, just outside of Castlebar. Today when he is not in Dublin in the Dáil, he lives with his family beside the Castlebar Golf Course.
Why is he famous?
Enda Kenny is famous because he is an Irish Fine Gael Politician and had been the Taoiseach of the Republic of Ireland since 2011. He was a primary school teacher before becoming a politician.
Where was he educated?
He first went to St.Patrick’s National School in Cornanool and then after he went to St.Geralds secondary school. He was interested in GAA and he played for Islandeady in Gaelic. After secondary school he went to St.Patrick’s college of education in Dublin. He qualified as a primary school teacher.

Yes, Enda Kenny is still alive. He is 62 years old.
About his family?
Henry Kenny (Enda Kenny’s father) was a fine Gael TD in the 1950’s. Enda’s father also won an All Ireland medal in 1936.
In 1975 Henry Kenny passed away and then Enda Kenny was chosen to be a fine Gael TD. He was only 24 years old at that time.
Kenny has been married to Fionnuala O'Kelly since 1992.
Enda and Fionnuala have one daughter and two sons. Enda’s grandfather was a lighthouse keeper.
